Approaching Summer Artistically

As summer approaches, there's an overwhelming need to create. It often takes a while to develop more challenging ideas on my own after working with middle school-level projects all day. I always appreciate when people ask me to make something for their home, a baby's room, or as a gift for someone. It's a great way to jump start my own creativity, and great ideas often come out of something that I've been given the task to create. Attached is a link to my artist Facebook page, with examples of what I've recently created. Christmas time was big for me, with commissions coming in left and right. Unfortunately, it slowed down immediately, and I'm hoping summer break will give me the chance to make some special things for people.
The other goal for this blog is to hold myself accountable to drawing, and posting work frequently, even if it's just a sketch.
